I have been a VIP since birth, diagnosed aged two with leber congenital amaurosis, resulting in being registered legally blind. My visual impairment has not stopped me living a full and happy life, exceeding expectations from my initial diagnosis.

The hospital told my parents that I’d never read, write, ride a bike or attend mainstream school. Through the fantastic guidance and support from my family combined with my own determination I proved them wrong. I read stories, wrote my name, got on that bike, and later graduated with a 2:1 with hons from university after being educated through mainstream schooling.

My passion and drive have lead me to the world of advocacy and campaigning, as I believe that the world should be accessible and inclusive to all, no matter your background or disability.
